Reiki Energy Healing
In Japanese, the word ‘Reiki’ literally translates as universal life force energy. This system of healing was developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century and in the UK it has been taught and used since the late 1900s, however Eastern medicine has been working with Reiki for thousands of years recognising its energy flow through all living things.
Reiki is not based on any belief or faith yet, the emerging interested in scientific research, using quantum physics is the right step in helping us to understand how Reiki healing can benefit the individual. It has been suggested that in years to come it may be known as energy medicine based on scientifically measurable energy emitted from the practitioner’s hands.
